Thomas Point Lighthouse is one of the most photographed and cherished Lighthouses in the United States. The Sandy Point Shoals Lights was constructed in 1883 and has its own romantic history to share about its life in the Chesapeake Bay.

Lighthouses are some of the most historical structures in the United States, and they possess amazing architectural detail. Built to endure the harsh elements of their exposed locations, they are also remembered as monuments to design and engineering from a time when computers and heavy equipment was not available.

We also respect the history that lighthouses hold in their rescue work and service to their communities and to those passing through. They were, and remain, beacons of safety.

Please note that the Bay Lighthouses Tour is only offered on Sundays from May 27 through September 2 (also available on May 28, July 4, and September 3).

This tour does not include a hotel pick-up. Child rate is for ages 3 to 11; children 2 and under are free Please reserve online, or call us toll-free at 888-790-1873.
